The MIAT Frankfurt Route is the Move

MIAT just announced daily nonstop FRA↔UBN from July 2, 2026 on a Boeing 787. This changes everything for Michael:

Outbound: ICE train from Bielefeld area to Frankfurt (~2-3h, €25-60) → MIAT OM138 FRA→UBN nonstop (8h, from €359)
Return: MIAT OM137 UBN→FRA nonstop (8.5h, from €284) → ICE back home
Round trip from €643 on miat.com — potentially the cheapest option AND the fastest (~11h door to door)

If Michael wants the adventure: MIAT outbound + post-tour extension with Max (Beijing, G-Train, Shanghai) + fly PVG→FRA (Lufthansa nonstop, ~€400-600) → ICE home. Total ~€1,200-1,800 with hotels.

If Michael wants the crew vibe: Join Claudio's BER→IST→UBN on Jul 16. But that's pricier (~€500-850 for the flights alone) plus a Berlin overnight, and he'll need separate tickets (TK + MIAT). The MIAT FRA route is objectively better value.
